Welcome to the Math Doctor and the Science Master. It is our mission to assist students in understanding, thinking, and speaking the universal language of mathematics and the universal discipline of science. We want our students to be able to work at the science and mathematical levels that they require; in order to accomplish their short and long range school or career objectives. We recognize that many students unnecessarily shy away from science and mathematics due to weak foundations. Once these are identified and improved upon, students are able to improve. Our tutors have the mathematical, science and the interpersonal skills to assist students in improving their math and science skills.

Who is the MATH Doctor?
In 2004, after years of serving as a Manager for Bell Labs, the MATH Doctor formed a one-on one math tutoring service. It was his opportunity to go back to his first love...teaching Mathematics. The MATH Doctor started teaching as a grad assistant at Michigan State University and continued teaching college math while obtaining his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Vermont. Subsequently, he also served as Mathematics Chairman at the University of Idaho, Idaho Falls, Idaho and an advisor to the Engineering Department at the University of Denver, Denver Colorado.
His biggest asset is not just his mastering of mathematics at the very highest level; but his talent and ability to communicate an understanding of math to his students regardless of their level. He has worked with all types of students including dyslexic, ADD, under performers, gifted, graduate, home schooled and adult learners. Our student successes are our driving force.
